THE ENGAGEMENT MODEL

Embedded
Growth Engineering

The traditional agency-client relationship is managed by account executives, billed by the hour, and SOW'd every time priorities change. We threw it out. Reblend embeds a small senior squad directly in your Slack, sprints in two-week cadence, and re-ranks priorities without a paperwork tax. This page is the full mechanics - what you'd actually experience in week one, week three, and quarter two.

THE FOUR PHASES

From scoping call to quarterly review.

Each engagement passes through the same four phases. The only thing that changes is which pillar is in scope.

PHASE 01

Scoping call - 30 minutes, free

We listen for 20 minutes, ask three sharp questions, and tell you whether we think we can help. If we can't, we say so and recommend the firm we think can.

PHASE 02

Scoping sprint - 2 weeks, fixed fee

Paid discovery. We audit the data system, model the opportunity, and write a single page of "here is what we'd ship in the first 90 days." You own the audit and the recommendation regardless of next steps.

PHASE 03

Embedded sprints - 2-week cadence

Shared Slack channel goes live. Sprint planning Mondays, demos Fridays, retros every other Friday. Priorities can re-rank between sprints without a new SOW.

PHASE 04

Quarterly model review - 13 weeks

Every quarter we sit down with the data: what we shipped, what it moved in closed-won, what the next quarter's bet is. The only meeting your CFO will ask to attend.

WHAT WE INTENTIONALLY DO NOT DO

The traditional agency machinery we removed.

Every line below is something a working agency offers that we believe gets in the way. If you want any of them, we're the wrong firm.

NOT DOING

Account managers

You talk directly to the architect, the developer, and the AI systems engineer assigned to your squad. No relay layer.

NOT DOING

Billable hours

We bill per sprint or per outcome, never per hour. A senior engineer optimizing a query in 20 minutes is worth more than a junior thrashing for 8.

NOT DOING

12-month minimum retainers

Our default engagement runs a quarter. Roll, expand, or wind down at the model review. Locked-in retainers misalign incentives.

NOT DOING

Activity reports

No "hours by category" PDFs. The work is visible in the Slack channel and the demo. The quarterly review is the report.

NOT DOING

Vanity-metric dashboards

Impressions, click-through, reach - these aren't outcomes. We instrument closed-won and the inputs that move it, and we measure against that.

NOT DOING

Discount tiers

One price per sprint, posted on the proposal. We don't negotiate on senior engineer time.

PRICING

Two ways to engage. Posted, not negotiated.

Sprint-based for short, scope-bounded work. Subscription for ongoing product-development retainers.

Sprint

From Custom

Two-week, fixed-fee sprints. Most engagements start here.

  • Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed timebox

  • One outcome per sprint

  • Full squad allocated for the duration

  • You own the artifacts on day one

Book a scoping call

Quarterly subscription

Custom / quarter

Embedded squad on quarterly priorities. Default after sprint 2.

  • Reserved senior squad capacity

  • Two-week sprints inside the quarterly bet

  • Re-prioritization without paperwork

  • Quarterly review against closed-won pipeline

Book a scoping call

Two squad slots open Q3 2026.

Scoping calls run 30 minutes. We'll either tell you what we'd ship in the first 90 days, or recommend you stay with your current vendor. Both are useful outcomes.
